Cancellation & Deposit Policy for Our Valued Guests
REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS
As a courtesy, our scheduling software will send a reminder text and/or email one day before and again one hour before your scheduled appointment. Please understand that it is ultimately your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and forfeit deposits paid. You are always welcome to call and double check any scheduled appointments if you are unsure.
DEPOSITS
A $100 deposit is required on all appointments with Sylvia Keller RN. Deposits for our licensed estheticians will vary depending on the service.
We will not hold blocks of time without a deposit paid in advance. The deposit amount charged will be applied toward the services on the day of your appointment. Should a guest decide to cancel an appointment after a deposit has been paid, and it's 48 hours before the scheduled service, the deposit will be refunded upon request. If a cancellation happens within 48 hours before the service is to be received, your deposit will be forfeited.
LATE/TARDY POLICY
We will always try our best to accommodate you if you are running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. It happens, we know! However, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our team's day by delaying them for the next scheduled guest. If you are not able to make your appointment time, you may have to forgo some part of your scheduled service(s). For example, if you were scheduled for multiple services you may need to choose only one and reschedule for the other at a later time. If you feel you may be late, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange our schedule to accommodate you with enough notice.
SERVICE COMPLAINTS
Although rare, there are times when a guest may not be happy with the shape of their eyebrows or other services performed by one of our technicians. If you contact us within 24 hours of the service date or the next business day and let us know your concern, we will be happy to address your concern to the best of our ability at no additional charge. If we are notified later than the next business day, we will unfortunately be unable to make any corrections at no extra charge.
Waxing, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, and a variety of chemical peels are not recommended when taking certain skin medications, antibiotics, or laser treatments. In the event a guest receives a service resulting in skin trauma due to not notifying the technician of skin medications, antibiotics, prior peels and/or laser treatments received by the guest then Kalon Aesthetics and any afflicted business working with Kalon Aesthetics will not be held liable. Please always notify your technician of your medications or skin treatments before receiving services at our studio.
COVID Policy
If you have an appointment, please stay in your car and your technician will call you when she’s ready.
Due to state mandated regulations, no children, regardless of age, are allowed to accompany a parent during a scheduled service. We understand it is difficult to arrange child care, however Phase 1.5 of the COVID-19 pandemic, state regulations require specific guidelines implemented for social distancing and limited building capacity. IF YOU CHOOSE TO BRING YOUR CHILD TO YOUR SERVICE, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO ANOTHER TIME. WE CANNOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS REGARDLESS OF THE SITUATION. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. Thank you for understanding.
